  2. Panama Canal — Miraflores Locks

    Museum and observation deck where you watch container ships transit the locks. Best ship traffic: 9–11 am and 2:30–4:30 pm.

  3. Amador Causeway

    Promenade across four islands at the Pacific entrance of the canal. Walk or bike at sunset.

  4. Cinta Costera

  1. Soberanía National Park

  3. El Valle de Antón

    Town inside an extinct volcano's crater, 2 hours from the city. Hot springs, waterfalls, hiking trails.
